The Detroit Pistons have exercised their $4 million team option on Daniss Jenkins, keeping the young guard under contract for the 2026-27 season.

Jenkins became a regular part of Detroit’s rotation last season, appearing in 72 games while averaging 9.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in 20.2 minutes per contest.

By picking up his option, the Pistons retain Jenkins for another year before he is scheduled to become a restricted free agent during the 2027 offseason.
