The Cleveland Cavaliers are bringing in former Florida guard Xaivian Lee after agreeing to an Exhibit 10 contract with the undrafted rookie.

Lee entered the NBA after finishing his college career at Florida, following three successful seasons at Princeton where he earned All-Ivy League honors twice.

During his final collegiate season, he averaged 11.6 points, 4.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals while serving as a steady presence in the backcourt.

Although his three-point shooting was inconsistent, Lee is regarded as a capable playmaker with good size and defensive instincts.

Cleveland will now evaluate him during Summer League and training camp as he looks to earn a larger opportunity within the organization.

The Exhibit 10 agreement gives Lee a chance to compete for a two-way contract or continue his development with the Cleveland Charge, the Cavaliers’ G League affiliate.
