Sylvain Francisco has emerged as one of the top guards in European basketball, and the Zalgiris Kaunas playmaker is now setting his sights on reaching the NBA, according to Eurohoops.

Speaking about his future, Francisco made it clear that returning to the United States is his primary objective despite enjoying a breakout season in the EuroLeague.

“The main goal is the NBA. Things can change, but that is the place I want to go,” he said.

The 28-year-old went undrafted in 2019 but has steadily built his reputation overseas through strong performances at the highest levels of European basketball.

This season, Francisco played a leading role for Zalgiris Kaunas, averaging 16.5 points and 6.5 assists per game while earning All-EuroLeague First Team honors.
