Bogdan Bogdanovic appears headed for at least one more season in the NBA, with Meridian Sports reporting that the Serbian guard has no plans to return to Europe next year.
That matters because rumors around a possible Partizan reunion had gathered real momentum in Europe, especially after a forgettable season with the Los Angeles Clippers that was shaped by injuries, limited minutes, and a smaller role than many expected.
Meridian Sports said Bogdanovic is staying in the NBA for at least another year. The bigger question now is whether he remains with the Clippers or lands elsewhere in a better-fitting situation.
The timing is important because Bogdanovic has a team option worth $16 million for next season. That gives the Clippers control over his immediate future, but it also means the veteran can become part of a larger offseason reshuffle if Los Angeles chooses a different direction.
This past season, though, his role in Los Angeles never fully stabilized. The Clippers had a crowded rotation and enough ball handling to limit how often Bogdanovic could settle into the kind of rhythm that usually makes him dangerous.
His 2025-26 season with the Clippers reflected a reduced role in a crowded rotation. He appeared in 23 games, averaging 19.7 minutes and 7.4 points per game while shooting 38.8% from the field and 34.7% from three-point range.
