New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson continues to work his way back from a broken pinkie, but his availability for the start of the NBA Finals remains uncertain.

Head coach Mike Brown revealed that Robinson participated in individual workouts during Sunday’s practice session, marking another step in his recovery after undergoing surgery last week.

However, Brown did not provide any further update regarding Robinson’s status for Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.

Robinson has played a valuable role for New York throughout the postseason, averaging 5.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in 14.2 minutes per game.
