Despite recent speculation surrounding the futures of Daryl Morey and Nick Nurse, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice reportedly does not expect the Philadelphia 76ers to make immediate changes following the team’s playoff run.

Although The Athletic reported Monday that both the president of basketball operations and head coach could potentially be dismissed, Aaronson believes Philadelphia’s first-round comeback from a 3-1 deficit against the Boston Celtics may help stabilize their positions for now.

Still, Aaronson noted that the possibility of organizational changes cannot be completely dismissed after the Sixers were swept in the second round by the New York Knicks.

The report also highlighted several important offseason decisions facing Philadelphia, with Quentin Grimes, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Andre Drummond identified as the team’s primary free agents.

Meanwhile, ESPN’s Bobby Marks previewed the Sixers’ offseason outlook and noted the franchise would likely move above the first tax apron if both Grimes and Oubre are re-signed.

Marks also suggested that Philadelphia’s ideal long-term scenario could involve exploring trade options for veteran stars Joel Embiid and Paul George in order to fully build around Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.

However, he reportedly views that possibility as unlikely because of the massive contracts still attached to Embiid and George.
