The New York Knicks took a 2-0 series lead over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night, but concerns quickly shifted toward OG Anunoby after the forward exited late in the fourth quarter with an apparent right hamstring injury.
Anunoby appeared to get hurt during a missed dunk attempt with just over three minutes remaining in the game.
After landing awkwardly, he grabbed at the back of his leg and was later seen limping while running back up the court.
The 28-year-old eventually signaled toward the bench that he needed to come out and was removed from the game shortly afterward.
“It looked like he was hopping, but I don’t know anything,” head coach Mike Brown said after the game.
“They haven’t told me. I just know he left the game. Nobody said he was back. I haven’t talked to anybody yet.”
As of Thursday, the Knicks had not released any additional information regarding the severity of the injury or Anunoby’s availability moving forward in the series.
