Real Madrid delivered a commanding 102-75 victory over Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv in Game 2 of their EuroLeague playoff series on Friday at Movistar Arena.

The Spanish side answered pregame concerns about the absence of injured center Walter Tavares with a complete performance on both ends of the floor.

Madrid established control early through efficient interior scoring and aggressive guard play, finishing 25-for-42 (59.5%) on two-point attempts.

Usman Garuba anchored the effort with 13 points, nine rebounds and a performance index rating of 21 in 21 minutes.

The forward added five offensive rebounds, creating second-chance opportunities that shifted momentum in the first half.

Facundo Campazzo led all scorers with 23 points and added six assists, consistently breaking down Hapoel’s defense in pick-and-roll situations.

Theo Maledon contributed 13 points and four assists, while the backcourt trio combined to shoot 11-for-16 inside the arc.

That perimeter pressure exposed Hapoel’s interior defense, especially after early foul trouble limited Dan Oturu’s impact on that end.

Oturu still produced 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting and continued his record-setting season, but struggled to anchor the defense.

Hapoel shot just 26.9% from three-point range and committed 12 turnovers, limiting its ability to keep pace.

Real Madrid controlled the glass with a 43-33 rebounding advantage, including 13 offensive boards that extended possessions.

Garuba’s energy stood out in Tavares’s absence, particularly in transition defense and rim protection rotations.

Madrid also spread the floor effectively, hitting 14 three-pointers at a 41.2% clip to stretch Hapoel’s defensive schemes.

The Israeli club, which finished sixth in the regular season standings, could not replicate its Game 1 physicality.

Real Madrid, third in the standings with an 18-1 home record, maintained its dominance in front of its home crowd.

The result gives the Spanish side a 2-0 series lead, putting them one win away from the Final Four.

However, Madrid’s 6-13 road record during the regular season offers Hapoel a potential opening as the series shifts.

Game 3 will be played in Bulgaria next week, where Hapoel will look to extend the series and adjust defensively.
