Kevin Durant is not expected to suit up for Game 5 as the Houston Rockets face the Los Angeles Lakers in their first-round series.

He has missed the last two games with a sprained left ankle and bone bruise, and was also unavailable for Game 1 after suffering a knee injury in practice prior to the series.

He did return in Game 2, putting up 23 points, but that was also when the ankle issue occurred, leading to his current absence.

The Rockets enter Game 5 trailing 3-1 and are also without Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams.

Meanwhile, the Lakers have gone through the series without Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, although Reaves is expected to be available for the upcoming game.
