The Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz meet Wednesday with very different injury situations, and the report tilts toward Denver entering the matchup.

Aaron Gordon is probable for the Nuggets with left calf tightness, while the Jazz continue to deal with a long list of absences that affects both their backcourt and frontcourt.

For Denver, the main concern is Gordon’s status, since he has been one of the team’s more versatile two-way pieces all season. He is averaging 16.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists, giving Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray another important release valve on the wing and around the rim.

The Nuggets are otherwise relatively healthy, with Spencer Jones out because of a right hamstring strain and Zeke Nnaji sidelined by a left hip sprain.

The Jazz, meanwhile, are missing several key names. Isaiah Collier and Keyonte George are both out with hamstring strains, while Lauri Markkanen is out with a right hip impingement and Jusuf Nurkic is out with a nose injury recovery.

Utah’s frontcourt is also weakened by the absences of Jaren Jackson Jr. and Walker Kessler, both listed out for injury recovery. Elijah Harkless is questionable with left hamstring sorenes. Two-way player Blake Hinson is also out.

The Nuggets have won the first three meetings by scores of 135-112, 128-125 and 135-129.

Denver just beat Golden State 116-93 and followed that with the 135-129 win over the Jazz on March 27, while Utah is coming off losses to Cleveland and Phoenix.
