Following an eight-game absence caused by a left elbow sprain, the Philadelphia 76ers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. said today that he plans to return to the lineup on Saturday in Charlotte, tweets Derek Bodner of PHLY Sports.

With Paul George and Joel Embiid both having returned earlier this week, Philadelphia is nearing full health again – the only key player still out is star guard Tyrese Maxey, who has been sidelined since March 7 with a finger injury and is expected to be reevaluated soon.

Head coach Nick Nurse told reporters on Friday that Maxey has been “a lot more involved” in team activities over the past 48 hours, tweets Kyle Neubeck of PHLY Sports.

Nurse also noted that Maxey has stayed committed to maintaining his conditioning throughout his recovery, indicating he likely won’t need much time to get back up to speed.
