The Utah Jazz will travel to Denver on Friday, March 27 to face the Nuggets at Ball Arena without several starters, according to the official NBA injury report.
Utah’s lineup is severely impacted, with Lauri Markkanen (right hip impingement), Walker Kessler (left shoulder), Jaren Jackson Jr. (left knee), Jusuf Nurkic (nose), Keyonte George (right hamstring), and Isaiah Collier (left hamstring) all sidelined. Kyle Filipowski is listed as probable due to illness, while Blake Hinson is unavailable on a two-way contract.
Denver enters the matchup with fewer concerns, with only David Roddy and KJ Simpson out on two-way deals.
The Nuggets have won their last two games, defeating the Dallas Mavericks 142-135 at home and edging the Phoenix Suns 125-123 on the road.
In contrast, Utah has dropped consecutive contests, losing 133-110 to the Washington Wizards and 143-127 to the Toronto Raptors at home.
Previous meetings this season favor Denver, who won both contests against Utah: 135-112 in December and 128-125 in March. The Jazz will need to overcome a 0-2 record against the Nuggets this season, which could be complicated further given their depleted roster.
Utah ranks 15th in the Western Conference at 21-52, while Denver holds fourth with a 46-28 record.
