Real Madrid extended its dominant home form with a 92-83 victory over Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv at Movistar Arena on Tuesday.
The win improved Los Blancos to 16-1 at home this EuroLeague season, combining with a 10-1 record in the Spanish League for an overall 26-2 home mark.
Facu Campazzo led the early surge, scoring 10 points in the opening four minutes as Real Madrid never trailed and reached halftime with a 45-35 lead.
Strong first-half shooting, including 61.9% on two-pointers and 100% from the line, paired with a 14-6 rebounding edge, set the tone against Hapoel’s frontline.
The hosts extended their lead to 84-62 with six minutes remaining, neutralizing Hapoel’s guards; Elijah Bryant managed only 4 points after a 9-point start, while Antonio Blakeney scored 3 on 1-of-6 shooting.
Real Madrid displayed balanced scoring, with nine players reaching at least six points and five hitting double digits, led by Mario Hezonja’s 15 points.
Hezonja highlighted the collective effort, praising teammates and coaching staff for preparation and execution in a demanding double-week schedule.
Real Madrid hosts Anadolu Efes Istanbul on March 26, while Hapoel travels to Kosner Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz on March 27 to continue their EuroLeague campaigns.
