Ace Bailey made seven 3-pointers and totaled 33 points, leading the Utah Jazz to a 128-96 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday at Delta Center. Bailey also contributed nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals, snapping Utah’s four-game skid.
Cody Williams added 23 points, scoring 19 before halftime to ignite the Jazz’s offense, while Elijah Harkless recorded 23 points and 10 assists. Kyle Filipowski chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds as Utah built an early lead and never looked back.
The Jazz allowed only two baskets over a six-minute stretch in the first quarter, establishing a 30-17 lead. A 21-9 run fueled by Williams pushed the margin to double digits, giving Utah control from the outset.
Milwaukee briefly cut the deficit to 44-40 in the second quarter on baskets from Ryan Rollins and Bobby Portis. That would be as close as the Bucks got, as Utah answered with a 20-4 surge led by Williams, Bailey, and Blake Hinson to reach a 64-44 halftime advantage.
Ryan Rollins led the Bucks with 15 points and five assists, while Cam Thomas scored 14 and Ousmane Dieng added 13. Milwaukee finished shooting 41% overall and 34% from three, struggling to match Utah’s scoring efficiency.
Utah extended its lead to 37 points in the fourth quarter, with Bailey hitting multiple 3-pointers down the stretch. The Jazz dominated the boards 47-35 and forced 12 turnovers while limiting the Bucks to just nine assists on the night.
The Jazz will host Philadelphia on Saturday, while Milwaukee travels to Phoenix for a Saturday matchup.
