Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered a 40-point performance to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder past the Orlando Magic 113-108 on Tuesday night at Kia Center, extending the league-leading team’s winning streak to 10 games.

The Thunder improved to 54-15, maintaining control of the top seed in the Western Conference, while Orlando dropped to 38-30 after losing for the second straight night.

Gilgeous-Alexander shot 14-of-27 from the field, including 3-of-5 from three-point range, and converted 9-of-11 free throws. His late three-pointer with 3:11 remaining pushed Oklahoma City ahead 102-96 and created separation in a tightly contested fourth quarter.

The guard also recorded his 129th career game with at least 20 points and extended his NBA-record streak of 20-point road games to 61. His shot creation and efficiency remained the central factor in Oklahoma City’s half-court offense.

Chet Holmgren added 20 points and 12 rebounds, anchoring the interior on both ends. The second-year big converted high-percentage looks, including multiple dunks, and helped the Thunder establish an early double-digit lead.

Oklahoma City opened the second quarter with a 19-5 run to take a 45-27 advantage, its largest lead of the game. Ball movement and interior scoring were key, as the Thunder finished with 53 rebounds and shot 44 percent overall.

Orlando responded with perimeter shooting, as Jevon Carter hit back-to-back three-pointers to spark a comeback. Paolo Banchero followed with a strong third quarter, finishing with 32 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

The Magic briefly took control in the third period, building a seven-point lead behind Banchero’s scoring and improved spacing. Orlando attempted 50 three-pointers in the game, reflecting a high-volume perimeter approach.

Ajay Mitchell provided a critical shift in the fourth quarter for Oklahoma City. He scored five consecutive points during a mid-quarter stretch, including a three-point play that helped the Thunder regain the lead at 91-90.

Isaiah Joe added a timely three-pointer during that sequence, reinforcing the Thunder’s spacing around Gilgeous-Alexander. Oklahoma City closed the game with controlled possessions and efficient free-throw shooting, finishing 24-of-27 at the line.

Despite the loss, Orlando received 14 points from Jalen Suggs and 16 from Desmond Bane. The Magic shot 34 percent from beyond the arc and 40 percent overall, but struggled to contain penetration late in the game.

Isaiah Hartenstein contributed seven rebounds and eight assists for Oklahoma City despite going scoreless, impacting the game through passing and interior positioning.

The Thunder will continue their road trip in Brooklyn on Wednesday, while the Magic return home before traveling to Charlotte on Thursday.
