The Orlando Magic enter Monday’s road game against the Atlanta Hawks dealing with several injuries, including the absence of one of their primary offensive options.

Orlando listed Franz Wagner as out for the matchup at State Farm Arena because of a left high ankle sprain under injury management. The 24-year-old forward has averaged 21.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 28 games this season.

Wagner’s absence removes a secondary shot creator next to Paolo Banchero, who leads the Magic with 22.3 points per game while adding 8.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists.

Anthony Black will also miss the game because of a left lateral abdominal strain. The 22-year-old guard has averaged 15.3 points, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals in 60 games while logging more than 30 minutes per night.

Defensive forward Jonathan Isaac is out with a left knee sprain. Isaac has appeared in 52 games this season, primarily in a bench role focused on rim protection and positional defense.

Jett Howard is listed as questionable due to illness. Howard has averaged 5.3 points while shooting 35.3% from three-point range in 44 appearances.

Two-way players Colin Castleton and Alex Morales are also out while assigned to the G League.

Despite the injuries, Orlando enters the matchup with momentum. The Magic have won seven straight games and improved to 38-28, placing them fifth in the Eastern Conference standings.

Their most recent victory came Saturday in a 121-117 road win over the Miami Heat, following a 136-131 overtime win against the Washington Wizards two days earlier.

Atlanta will also monitor several players ahead of Monday’s game.

Jonathan Kuminga is listed as questionable due to left knee injury management. Kuminga has played only four games for Atlanta this season but has averaged 16.5 points and 8.0 rebounds in 24.8 minutes.

Two-way guards RayJ Dennis and Keshon Gilbert are both questionable, while rookie forward Asa Newell is also listed as questionable while on G League assignment.

The Hawks enter the matchup riding a nine-game winning streak and sit ninth in the Eastern Conference at 36-31.

Atlanta defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 122-99 on Saturday after beating the Brooklyn Nets 108-97 earlier in the week.

Jalen Johnson has led Atlanta’s offense throughout the season, averaging 23.0 points, 10.4 rebounds and 8.0 assists while functioning as a primary playmaker from the forward position.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker has added 20.0 points per game while providing perimeter shooting at 37.9% from three-point range.

The Hawks have also controlled the season series against Orlando so far. Atlanta won both previous meetings, including a 111-107 victory on Oct. 24 and a 127-112 win on Nov. 4.

Monday’s game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
