Taurean Prince questionable Tuesday

Bucks forward Taurean Prince has seen his status improved to questionable for Tuesday’s game against Phoenix, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

The update comes as an unexpected turn, given that Prince has been sidelined since November after undergoing surgery to repair a herniated disk in his neck.

Following the injury, Milwaukee sought a disabled player exception, and league medical officials concluded Prince was likely to remain out through at least mid-June.

That determination allowed the Bucks to secure the exception, according to Eric Pincus of Sports Business Classroom.

Although Milwaukee is not expected to make use of the $1,651,887 disabled player exception tied to Prince’s injury, the team would lose access to it if he returns to active status for Tuesday’s contest.

Notably, that same day also marks the final deadline for teams to utilize their disabled player exceptions.

Nehm also reports that Prince has consistently participated in on-court workouts following practices and before games since rejoining the team after his procedure.

The veteran forward also hinted on social media that his return to action may be imminent.

Prince, now in his 10th NBA season, last appeared in a game on November 4, which was Milwaukee’s eighth contest of the year. He also possesses a $3.8 million player option for the 2026/27 season.
