Supporters of the Denver Nuggets received reassuring news regarding Jamal Murray, as the left ankle sprain he suffered is not believed to be significant.

Tim MacMahon of ESPN reports that the standout guard is likely to carry a questionable designation for Monday’s game in Oklahoma City and is currently being evaluated on a day-to-day basis.

Murray picked up the injury during the second quarter of Friday’s lopsided defeat at home against New York Knicks and did not return to the floor afterward.

Following the game, head coach David Adelman described the guard as “really sore,” while also noting that Murray generally recovers rapidly from ankle issues – an assessment that appears accurate given the current outlook.
