The Memphis Grizzlies enter Monday night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets with a lengthy injury report that significantly reshapes their rotation heading into the matchup at Barclays Center.
Memphis lists 10 players as out or doubtful, including Ja Morant, who remains sidelined with a left elbow UCL sprain.
Morant has appeared in 20 games this season and averages 19.5 points and 8.1 assists in 28.5 minutes per game, serving as Memphis’ primary ball handler and offensive initiator.
Several frontcourt contributors are also unavailable for the Grizzlies, including Santi Aldama, Brandon Clarke, Zach Edey, and Taj Gibson.
Aldama averages 14.0 points and 6.7 rebounds across 43 games, while Clarke is out with a right calf strain and Edey continues recovery from left ankle surgery.
Memphis will also be without Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as he recovers from surgery on his right fifth finger. The veteran wing has played 51 games this season and averages 8.4 points while providing perimeter defense and floor spacing.
The Grizzlies could also miss multiple rotation players listed as doubtful, including Cedric Coward, Taylor Hendricks, Ty Jerome, and Scotty Pippen Jr.
Coward averages 13.4 points and 6.2 rebounds in 26.1 minutes, while Jerome has provided backcourt scoring with 19.4 points and 5.4 assists per game in 10 appearances.
Pippen Jr. contributes 11.4 points and 4.7 assists in his limited action this season, adding further uncertainty to Memphis’ guard rotation.
Brooklyn enters the game with a shorter injury report but will still be missing its leading scorer.
Forward Michael Porter Jr. is listed as out for rest. Porter has played 51 games this season and leads the Nets with 24.3 points per game while averaging 7.2 rebounds and shooting 36.5% from three-point range.
Rookie guard Egor Demin will also miss the game due to left plantar fascia injury management. Demin averages 10.3 points and 3.3 assists across 52 appearances.
Brooklyn lists guard Ben Saraf as probable despite back tightness. Saraf averages 5.0 points and 2.7 assists in 16.9 minutes per game.
The Nets enter Monday’s matchup with a 16-47 record, currently tied for 13th in the Eastern Conference standings.
Brooklyn snapped a losing streak Saturday with a 107-105 road win over the Detroit Pistons.
Memphis, meanwhile, sits 11th in the Western Conference at 23-39 and has dropped three straight games, including a 123-120 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on March 7.
The teams met once earlier this season, with Memphis defeating Brooklyn 103-98 on Jan. 11.
Monday’s game tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
