Giannis Antetokounmpo produced an efficient all-around performance Saturday night as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Utah Jazz 113-99 at Fiserv Forum.
The two-time MVP finished with 27 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in just 27 minutes as Milwaukee ended a four-game skid.
Antetokounmpo’s minutes remain under close monitoring after he recently returned from a right calf strain that sidelined him for 15 consecutive games.
Saturday’s contest marked the third appearance since his return, and Milwaukee controlled the game once its star forward found rhythm in transition and the half court.
The Bucks separated late with a decisive 13-2 closing run that turned a competitive fourth quarter into a comfortable victory.
Kyle Kuzma delivered the key scoring burst during that stretch, scoring nine of his 18 points while knocking down two three-pointers in the final minutes.
Milwaukee received several strong all-around performances alongside Antetokounmpo, nearly producing multiple triple-doubles.
Ryan Rollins recorded 13 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists while logging a game-high 40 minutes at guard.
Ousmane Dieng also filled the stat sheet with 11 points, nine assists and eight rebounds as the Bucks moved the ball effectively.
Milwaukee finished with 33 assists on 41 made field goals and shot 48 percent from the floor.
The Bucks also converted 15 three-pointers, creating spacing that allowed Antetokounmpo to attack the paint and generate free throws.
Utah struggled offensively throughout the night, finishing with just 31 made shots on 90 attempts.
The Jazz shot 34.4 percent from the field and went 12-for-49 from three-point range, limiting their ability to keep pace.
Keyonte George led Utah with 22 points while Brice Sensabaugh added 17 points off the bench.
Utah entered the game shorthanded, missing leading scorer Lauri Markkanen because of right hip impingement and guard Isaiah Collier due to personal reasons.
Several other Jazz players have already been ruled out for the season, further limiting the rotation.
Utah briefly ended a seven-game losing streak with a win Thursday, but the loss in Milwaukee marked its eighth defeat in the last nine games.
The Bucks also played without Kevin Porter Jr., who missed his second straight game due to swelling in his right knee.
Milwaukee improved its ball movement and defensive pressure in the second half, forcing difficult perimeter shots and controlling the rebounding margin.
The Bucks finished with 48 rebounds and limited second-chance opportunities despite Utah collecting 53 total boards.
With the victory, Milwaukee improved to 26-35 and remains in the middle tier of the Eastern Conference standings as the regular season enters its final stretch.
Utah fell to 19-44 and continues to sit near the bottom of the Western Conference.
The Jazz will host the Golden State Warriors on Monday night. Milwaukee returns to action Sunday at home against the Orlando Magic.
