The Indiana Pacers announced they have signed guard Quenton Jackson to a three-year standard contract, ending his three-year tenure on a two-way deal, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
Jackson, 27, appeared in 30 games this season with 10 starts, averaging 9.2 points while shooting 48.9% from the field and 40.5% from three-point range.
Over his four-year NBA career, Jackson has played 70 games, averaging 7.1 points on 47.9% shooting with 36.5% from beyond the arc.
This season, Jackson has averaged 17.3 minutes per game, contributing 2.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest while maintaining an effective field goal percentage of 57.0%.
The Pacers have struggled this season, holding a 15-45 record and sitting last in the Eastern Conference, but Jackson’s conversion signals the organization’s commitment to developing young talent.
