Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv claimed a 91-86 road victory over AS Monaco at Salle Gaston Medecin on Thursday, February 26, improving to 14-15 and keeping their postseason hopes alive.

The visitors erased an early 11-10 deficit with a decisive 0-11 run and maintained control for most of the game, despite Monaco briefly taking a 76-75 lead in the fourth quarter. Lonnie Walker led Maccabi with 18 points, while Roman Sorkin and Jaylen Hoard contributed 15 each, with Hoard also pulling down seven rebounds.

Oshae Brissett added 12 points as Maccabi delivered 22 assists and out-rebounded the home side 37-33. The Israeli team shot 12-of-35 from three-point range, finding balance in a composed offensive display that countered Monaco’s top scorer.

Monaco leaned heavily on Jaron Blossomgame, who posted a career-high 25 points with seven boards, two assists, and a PIR of 33, while Alpha Diallo added 19 points. However, the Roca Team struggled from long distance, converting only 7-of-35 three-point attempts, including a combined 1-of-12 from Matthew Strazel and Mike James.

Monaco, now 16-13, has lost six of its last seven games and faces mounting pressure in ninth place.

Maccabi will host Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv next Thursday in a pivotal Tel Aviv derby, while Monaco travels to Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul on the same day, aiming to reverse a recent downward trend.
