Jalen Green’s first season with the Phoenix Suns has been disrupted by recurring hamstring injuries that have caused him to miss significant time.
Now back in the lineup, Green finds himself with an opportunity to take on a larger role as the team deals with injuries to key players Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks.
With additional responsibility available, the player believes his versatility can help fill the gap, particularly through pace, athleticism, and scoring ability.
Speaking with Kelly Iko of Yahoo Sports, he described how his skill set allows him to contribute in multiple ways on both ends of the floor.
“I think I bring a little bit of everything,” Green said. “Play faster, get some steals and get into the open lane. I think that’s where my biggest impact is, getting to the rim, the 3 and scoring.”
Green has played 5 seasons for the Rockets and Suns. He has averaged 19.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 318 regular-season games.
