One factor that could complicate the New York Knicks’ chase for the No. 2 seed is the demanding schedule awaiting the team after the All-Star break.
Peter Sblendorio of the New York Daily News characterizes the Knicks’ next 11 games as a difficult stretch, beginning with their return against the Pistons, who will be without key frontcourt players Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart due to suspensions.
From there, New York is set to face the top five teams in the Western Conference along with three of the top five clubs in the East, a challenging run that features seven road contests and two back-to-back sets.
Meanwhile, veteran forward T.J. Warren has returned to the Westchester Knicks, the organization’s G League affiliate announced.
Warren also spent time with Westchester last season, posting averages of 22.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.2 assists across 21 regular-season appearances, though he did not receive a call-up to the NBA roster.
His most recent NBA action came during the 2023/24 season, when he appeared in 11 games for the Minesotta Timberwolves.
