As we had reported a week ago, Billy Keys was really close to staying at Maroussi and today it was made official.
Maroussi announced the contract renewal with the player via its official website which quoted the player himself:
"Last season was excellent. And because we have new challenges in front of us next season I wanted to remain in the club to help it in the Greek League and the Euroleague. It is a joy for player to be playing for Maroussi because everything work excellent here in a great atmosphere."
In the meantime Maroussi has started negotiations with the Greek SKAI channel regarding its Euroleague TV rights.
