The Chicago Bulls are signing three-time NBA Dunk Contest champion Mac McClung to a two-way contract, according to NBA reporter Jake Fischer, with the guard already in Toronto as the team prepares to face the Raptors on Thursday night.

Chicago enters the game at 24-27, sitting 10th in the Eastern Conference, while Toronto holds a 30-21 record and ranks fourth, making roster depth a priority as the Bulls try to stay in the Play-In race.

McClung, 27, has appeared in nine NBA games across four seasons and most recently played three contests with the Indiana Pacers during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 6.3 points in 11.3 minutes.

His overall NBA averages stand at 5.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 12.2 minutes per game, reflecting limited opportunities at the league level despite strong production in developmental systems.

The guard has built momentum in the G League this season with the Windy City Bulls, posting 23.5 points and 7.0 assists while shooting 51.7 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from three-point range across 11 games.

The two-way structure allows the organization to evaluate him within Billy Donovan’s system while maintaining roster flexibility during a crowded Eastern Conference playoff push.

Although he is widely known for his dunk contest success, the signing reflects production trends in the G League, where he has averaged at least 17.4 points in four consecutive seasons while improving efficiency and playmaking.

His 2023-24 G League campaign included 25.2 points and 6.4 assists per game.
