The Toronto Raptors are believed to be evaluating the trade market for Immanuel Quickley, and his performance Tuesday night may have strengthened their leverage.

Michael Grange of SportsNet reports that Quickley delivered a dominant showing in a road win over the Golden State Warriors, helping jump-start an offense that had struggled to find rhythm.

Quickley matched his career high with 40 points, knocking down 11 of his 13 shots overall and 7 of 8 attempts from beyond the arc.

He also handed out 10 assists as Toronto erupted for 145 points, a notable turnaround after several sluggish offensive outings.

“Yeah, I felt a little bit better,” said Quickley, who missed two games last week due to back spasms.

“But it was just the mindset. I told a couple of the guys, just have the mindset to come out and be aggressive. The game is more like 70 or 80 percent mental than it is (physical). Just have the mindset to go out and aggressively dominate.”

After being limited to just 33 games last season, Quickley has remained mostly healthy this year, adding to his appeal as a potential trade target.

His scoring punch and playmaking could make him an attractive option for teams searching for help at point guard.

However, his contract, which will pay him $97.5 million over the next three years, could temper interest and complicate negotiations despite his on-court production.
