
The NBA announced the starters for the 2026 All-Star Game, naming Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, Cade Cunningham and Tyrese Maxey as the Eastern Conference selections.
Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic and Victor Wembanyama were chosen as starters from the Western Conference, per NBA Communications.
This season’s All-Star Game will feature a U.S. vs. World format and will be held Sunday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. ET at the Clippers’ Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The round-robin tournament will include two teams of U.S. players and one team of international players, with four 12-minute games and a minimum of eight players per team. Details on how the teams will be divided have not yet been announced.
Antetokounmpo, a two-time MVP, was named an All-Star starter for the 10th straight season. Brown, the 2024 Finals MVP, will make his fifth All-Star appearance, while Brunson earns his third consecutive selection.
Cunningham was named an All-Star for the second time and will start for the first time, becoming the first Pistons player to earn an Eastern Conference starting spot since Allen Iverson in 2009. Maxey will also make his second All-Star appearance and first as a starter.
Curry will play in his 12th All-Star Game and start for the 11th time, while Doncic earns his sixth All-Star nod. Gilgeous-Alexander, the reigning MVP and Finals MVP, was selected for his fourth All-Star Game and third straight start.
Jokic, a three-time MVP, was named an All-Star for the eighth consecutive season. Wembanyama becomes the first Spurs player to start an All-Star Game since Kawhi Leonard in 2017.
Fans accounted for 50 percent of the vote, with players and media splitting the remaining 50 percent. Wembanyama won a tiebreaker over Anthony Edwards. Full voting results are available on NBA.com.
