Phoenix Suns delivered one of their sharpest offensive performances of the season Monday night, beating the Brooklyn Nets 126-117 at Barclays Center.

Dillon Brooks scored a game-high 27 points, while Devin Booker added 23 as Phoenix controlled the game with pace and perimeter shooting.

The Suns shot 57 percent from the field and 51 percent from three-point range, knocking down 20 triples on 39 attempts.

Collin Gillespie contributed 22 points and five assists, continuing a strong stretch as the Suns won their fifth game in the past seven outings.

Phoenix built a 20-point lead in the first half by spacing the floor and forcing Brooklyn into rotation-heavy defensive possessions.

The visitors extended the margin to 17 with just over nine minutes left in the fourth quarter, appearing to have full control.

Brooklyn responded with a 19-6 run, capped by a three-point play from Noah Clowney that trimmed the deficit to 118-114 with 4:01 remaining.

Brooks answered immediately with a three-pointer, though he was assessed a technical foul after making contact with Michael Porter Jr..

Clowney converted the technical free throw, briefly keeping the Nets within reach.

Phoenix then sealed the outcome when Grayson Allen found Royce O’Neale wide open on the wing for a three that pushed the lead back to nine.

Allen finished with 14 points off the bench, while Mark Williams added 16 points and eight rebounds to give Phoenix steady interior production.

The Suns totaled 29 assists and limited turnovers, consistently generating clean looks through ball movement.

Porter led Brooklyn with 23 points, while Clowney scored 16 and reserve Ziaire Williams chipped in 15.

The Nets shot 51 percent overall and 39 percent from deep but struggled to string together stops during Phoenix’s key runs.

Brooklyn has now lost nine of its 11 games in January after showing signs of momentum late last month.

Playing the second night of a back-to-back, the Nets rested Egor Demin and Cam Thomas, while center Day’Ron Sharpe missed the game due to illness.
