The Charlotte Hornets travel to the Chase Center on Saturday, January 17, to face the Golden State Warriors at 8:30 PM ET, with injuries affecting key contributors on both teams.

Charlotte has Mason Plumlee (right groin), Liam McNeeley, Antonio Reeves, and KJ Simpson out, while Moussa Diabate is questionable with a right hamstring issue.

Golden State will be without Seth Curry (left sciatic nerve), Gui Santos (left ankle), Li Cryer, and Malevy Leons.

The Hornets enter the contest after a 135-117 win over the Lakers and a 109-117 loss at the Clippers, holding a 15-26 record and 12th place in the Eastern Conference.

Brandon Miller leads Charlotte with 19.4 points per game, while LaMelo Ball averages 20.4 points, 7.8 assists, and 5.2 rebounds in 31 games. Miles Bridges adds 19.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.

Golden State comes off consecutive wins over the Knicks (126-113) and Trail Blazers (119-97), sitting 23-19 and 8th in the Western Conference.

Stephen Curry leads the Warriors with 28.1 points and 4.9 assists per game. Jimmy Butler is adding 20.1 points and 5.6 rebounds.

This game marks the second meeting between the teams, after the Warriors defeated Charlotte 132-125 on December 31, 2025.

Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 PM ET, and the matchup will test Charlotte’s depth against a Warriors team that ranks 8th in offensive rating (119.2) while playing at a slow pace, the 24th in the league.
