Shaedon Sharpe scored 24 points to lead the Portland Trail Blazers past the Atlanta Hawks 117-101 at Moda Center on Thursday. Jerami Grant added 16 points, and Rayan Rupert contributed 13 as Portland pulled away in the fourth quarter after holding an 88-87 lead entering the final frame.

Jrue Holiday scored 12 points in his third game back from a right calf injury, helping Portland overcome the absence of Deni Avdija, who missed his second straight game with lower-back soreness. The Trail Blazers improved to 19-22 after snapping a two-game losing streak.

Onyeka Okongwu led Atlanta with 26 points, while CJ McCollum scored 20 in his third game with the Hawks since the Trae Young trade. Kristaps Porzingis missed his fourth consecutive game due to an Achilles issue, and the Hawks have now lost nine straight in Portland dating back to February 2017.

Portland shot 45% from the field and 30% from three-point range, outrebounding Atlanta 54-40. Atlanta made just 43% of its shots and 32% from long range, struggling to keep pace with the Trail Blazers’ balanced scoring attack.

The Blazers’ win marks a strong recovery after losing two of their previous three games, while the Hawks fall to 20-22 following a 1-3 road trip. Portland will host the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, and Atlanta returns home to face Boston the same night.
