Dubai Basketball has finalized the signing of Brazilian forward Bruno Caboclo for the remainder of the 2025-26 EuroLeague season. The 30-year-old big man joins the team after stints with Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv and Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.

Caboclo, standing 2.08 meters, has not played in the EuroLeague this season due to injury but was a key contributor to Hapoel’s EuroCup title last year. He averaged 7.4 points and 3.7 rebounds across 23 games during that campaign.

His last EuroLeague appearance came in the 2023-24 season with Partizan, where he posted 9.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. This marks his first top-tier European competition since that season.

Caboclo began his professional career with Pinheiros in Brazil in 2013-14 before joining the NBA. He played for the Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, and Houston Rockets, along with stints in the G League for multiple affiliates.

After leaving the NBA, he transitioned to Europe in 2020-21 with Limoges and returned to Brazil to play for Sao Paulo in 2021-22. He then joined Mexico City Capitanes and ratiopharm ulm, helping the latter secure a historic German League title and EuroCup debut.

His success in Europe led to a move to Partizan, followed by a EuroCup-winning tenure with Hapoel Tel Aviv beginning in 2024. Dubai now adds Caboclo to a roster currently sitting 13th in the EuroLeague with a 10-11 record.

Dubai’s leading contributors include Dwayne Bacon, averaging 16.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, and McKinley Wright IV with 12.8 points and 6.7 assists per contest. Caboclo’s addition aims to strengthen the frontcourt and provide veteran experience for the team’s EuroLeague push.
