The Phoenix Suns and Detroit Pistons will both be dealing with injuries when they meet Thursday at Little Caesars Arena.

Phoenix will be without Jamaree Bouyea (concussion protocol) and Jalen Green (right hamstring strain), while Devin Booker (left ankle sprain) and Nigel Hayes-Davis (right ankle sprain) are listed as questionable. Royce O’Neale (left biceps contusion) is probable, and Jordan Goodwin is available wearing a mask after a jaw injury.

Detroit expects Jalen Duren (right ankle sprain), Tobias Harris (left hip sprain), and Isaiah Stewart (illness) to be probable, which could slightly limit the Pistons’ rotation but leaves Cade Cunningham, Ausar Thompson, and Duncan Robinson ready to lead the squad.

The Suns are coming off a 121-127 loss to the Miami Heat, ending a brief one-game winning streak, while the Pistons are 28-10 after falling 92-98 to the Los Angeles Clippers. Both teams will look to rebound as they prepare for their first meeting of the season.

Devin Booker leads Phoenix with 25.2 points per game, but the team will need contributions from Dillon Brooks (21.3 PPG) and Grayson Allen (15.7 PPG) if he cannot play. Mark Williams provides interior scoring and rebounding at 12.4 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Detroit relies heavily on Cade Cunningham’s 26.7 points per game and 9.7 assists, while Jalen Duren and Tobias Harris each average double-digit scoring and inside presence, making their probable availability a key factor for head coach Monty Williams. Ausar Thompson adds 11.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest, complementing the Pistons’ starting five.

Both teams are coming off losses but remain playoff contenders in their respective conferences. The Suns sit seventh in the Western Conference at 24-16, while the Pistons lead the East at 28-10, highlighting the significance of this game for momentum and playoff positioning.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM ET, with both squads likely adjusting rotations around health updates released earlier in the day.
