The Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks face off Tuesday at Fiserv Forum, with both teams navigating significant injuries.

Minnesota will be without Anthony Edwards (right foot), Rudy Gobert (suspension), Terrence Shannon Jr. (left foot), Enrique Freeman, and Rocco Zikarsky, leaving the roster thin.

Edwards, averaging 28.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists this season, is a major offensive loss, while Gobert’s absence removes a 11.4-rebound per game presence in the paint. Julius Randle, Jaden McDaniels, and Naz Reid are expected to carry the scoring load for the Timberwolves.

Milwaukee enters the game missing Taurean Prince (neck surgery) and sidelining two-way players Alex Antetokounmpo and Pete Nance. Myles Turner is listed as questionable due to illness, potentially limiting the Bucks’ interior defense.

The Bucks’ offense has been led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is posting 29.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists over 25 games. Ryan Rollins and Kevin Porter Jr. provide secondary scoring, with Bobby Portis and Kyle Kuzma offering floor spacing and versatility.

Minnesota is coming off a 104-103 home win over the Spurs, snapping a one-game losing streak. Milwaukee lost 104-108 at Denver but had defeated the Lakers 105-101 two games prior, giving both teams momentum entering the matchup.

The Timberwolves hold a 26-14 record, fourth in the Western Conference, while the Bucks are 17-22, 11th in the Eastern Conference. Minnesota won the previous meeting on December 21, 103-100, and leads the season series 1-0.
