Aaron Wiggins: Cason Wallace isn’t one of those guys you try to go at

Here’s Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Aaron Wiggins on Cason Wallace’s defense this season (career-high 2.1 SPG).

“He’s one of those guys that you see in front of you and you say, ‘Not him.’ That’s not one of the guys that you want to try to go at or make a big play against. Just a really solid defender. Obviously makes plays and gets steals and stuff, but it’s all from just simple base defense. He’s just playing the right way, he’s being physical, and he’s going for when you show the ball to him. So, just a great player. We have a lot of guys who are First Team caliber defensive guys. I’m just happy for obviously his start to the season and the way he’s playing, but definitely one of those guys that… one of the six guys that we have that you’re like, ‘Don’t. Not him.’”
