From his perspective, the issue isn’t a total absence of leadership, but rather the lack of steady, day-to-day enforcement of standards among teammates.
Big man Domantas Sabonis reportedly echoed that view, sharing similar frustrations about the team’s internal dynamics.
In response, Sabonis urged the front office to bring in Russell Westbrook, a former teammate from his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, believing that Westbrook’s vocal leadership and demanding style could help establish a more consistent culture of accountability in Sacramento.
