Allen shot 6 of 12 in the first half and included two unconventional behind-the-backboard baskets that energized the Cavaliers. Cleveland outscored the Spurs 29-21 in the paint in the fourth quarter, turning a close game into a comfortable victory.

San Antonio opened the game with Wembanyama showcasing his versatility, including a two-handed dunk off Castle’s pass and a 25-foot 3-pointer to give the Spurs a 26-25 lead after the first quarter. Despite the early heroics, the Spurs could not match the depth and scoring balance of the Cavaliers down the stretch.

The Cavaliers snapped a two-game losing streak and ended the Spurs’ eight-game winning streak, relying on interior scoring and efficient team play to control the game. Cleveland shot 43% overall and made 90% of free throws, while San Antonio converted 39% from the field and 23% from three-point range.

Cleveland returns home to face the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, while the Spurs host the New York Knicks on the same night.
