The Milwaukee Bucks earned consecutive victories for the first time since late October with a 123-113 road win over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night at Spectrum Center.

Milwaukee improved to 14-19 by overcoming a halftime deficit and leaning on interior scoring and bench production down the stretch.

Bobby Portis delivered the decisive performance, scoring 25 points off the bench on 8-of-12 shooting while adding five made three-pointers in 23 minutes.

Giannis Antetokounmpo followed with 24 points and seven assists, consistently creating advantages in the paint as the game tightened late.

Myles Turner added 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting and provided a steady interior presence, while Kevin Porter Jr. recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 assists.

The Bucks won despite being outrebounded 47-31, compensating with efficient shooting and ball security throughout the second half.

Milwaukee trailed 66-63 at halftime after allowing Charlotte to dictate tempo early and control the glass.

The visitors seized momentum in the third quarter by outscoring the Hornets 32-23, shifting the game through half-court execution and rim pressure.

Charlotte cut the deficit to five points with just over three minutes remaining, but Milwaukee repeatedly dumped the ball inside to Turner and Antetokounmpo to close the game.

The Hornets fell to 11-21 after missing an opportunity to secure their first three-game winning streak of the season.

Brandon Miller led Charlotte with 31 points and eight rebounds, shouldering a heavy offensive load against Milwaukee’s size.

LaMelo Ball added 26 points and seven assists, though he struggled with efficiency while facing consistent pressure.

Charlotte’s injury issues deepened when Miles Bridges exited early with a right ankle injury after stepping awkwardly while fighting through a screen.

Bridges briefly returned but left again after landing on the same foot while contesting a three-point attempt, further thinning the Hornets’ frontcourt.

Already without starters Kon Knueppel and Ryan Kalkbrenner, Charlotte leaned on smaller lineups that struggled defensively late.

Milwaukee shot 52 percent from the field and converted 19 of 22 free throws, offsetting Charlotte’s rebounding advantage.
