Phoenix Suns completed a two-game road sweep Saturday night, holding off the New Orleans Pelicans 123-114 at Smoothie King Center.

Devin Booker scored 20 points and hit two critical jumpers in the closing minutes as Phoenix improved to 18-13 on the season.

Booker led a balanced offensive effort that saw seven Suns reach double figures, a key factor in closing out another tight finish against New Orleans.

Dillon Brooks finished with 18 points, while Collin Gillespie added 17 and knocked down five three-pointers, all in the first half.

Jordan Goodwin contributed 16 points off the bench, and Royce O’Neale chipped in 15 as Phoenix leaned on depth throughout the night.

The Suns built an early cushion behind hot perimeter shooting, taking a 65-55 lead into halftime after dominating the glass and generating second-chance opportunities.

Phoenix finished with a 36-20 rebounding advantage, including 17 offensive boards that led to a 24-9 edge in second-chance points.

The game turned tense in the third quarter after New Orleans used a 12-2 run to pull within two, triggering a chippy sequence that resulted in ejections for Jose Alvarado and Mark Williams following an on-court altercation.

With Phoenix resting starters early in the fourth, Jamaree Bouyea sparked separation by scoring 10 straight points, capped by a baseline three that pushed the lead to 107-95.

The Pelicans responded with an 11-1 spurt, highlighted by free throws from Zion Williamson, trimming the margin to 108-106.

Booker then steadied the Suns, scoring five straight points to halt the rally and restore control in the final minutes.

Trey Murphy III led New Orleans with 24 points, while rookie center Derik Queen posted 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Williamson added 22 points off the bench on 8-of-11 shooting, but New Orleans fell to 8-25 despite shooting 88 percent from the free-throw line.

Phoenix shot 20-of-44 from three-point range, a sharp turnaround after struggling from deep in the previous meeting.

The Suns will visit Washington on Monday night, while the Pelicans return home to host New York.
