Although Shams Charania of ESPN reported that Anthony Davis is expected to miss multiple games with a mild right groin strain, the Mavericks have still listed the five-time All-NBA big man as questionable.

According to Marc Stein on Twitter, that designation applies to Saturday’s road matchup against Sacramento due to right adductor soreness.

Davis left Thursday’s loss to Golden State early after dealing with groin spasms that limited his ability to move comfortably.

The adductor muscles are located along the inner thigh and play a major role in stability and movement, which is why issues in that area are commonly grouped under the term “groin strains.”

Davis has played 14 seasons for the Pelicans, Lakers, and Mavericks. He has averaged 24.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.3 blocks in 803 regular-season games.

He was selected to play in 10 All-Star games, and has won 1 NBA championship.
