Memphis Grizzlies big man Zach Edey dropped a career-high 32 points and 17 rebounds to outlast the Sacramento Kings 115-107 on Sunday night.
The 7-foot-4 center recorded his third double-double of the season, while shooting 16 of 20 in 29 minutes from the floor.
Edey scored six points in the final three minutes of the clash to secure the lead, helping the Grizzlies on their fourth straight road win.
Grizzlies guard Cam Spencer had 16 points, Jaylen Wells with 15, while Jaren Jackson Jr. and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope each had 13 points.
The Memphis team still played without its superstar, Ja Morant, but managed to win games and get back on track after a slump in the previous weeks.
While the Kings were trailing by 13 points in the third quarter, they outscored their opponents to take the lead, 87-83, at the end of the quarter.
However, the Sacramento fell short of maintaining their momentum in the fourth quarter, as they were dominated by a 14-2 run by the Grizzlies, trailing 101-99, before Edey sealed the game.
DeMar DeRozan contributed 23 points with three 3-pointers for the Kings, while Malik Monk with 21, and Zach LaVine added 19.
The Grizzlies aim to sustain their winning momentum without Morant when they face the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night, while the Kings look forward to bouncing back against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.
