NBA insider Shams Charania reported on Sunday, November 30, that Seth Curry intends to re-sign with the Golden State Warriors on Monday for the remainder of the season. The 34-year-old sharpshooter, who shot an NBA-best 45.6% from three-point range last season, will join his older brother Stephen for his 12th NBA season.
Curry’s return follows a procedural waiver in October designed to give the Warriors short-term salary cap flexibility, as first reported by Anthony Slater. The move was part of a planned roster strategy, with Golden State anticipating that Curry would rejoin once financial conditions allowed.
Over 11 NBA seasons, Curry has played for Dallas, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn, establishing himself as one of the league’s top three-point specialists with a career 43.3% mark from deep. Last season, he averaged 6.5 points per game while shooting 45.6% from beyond the arc in stints with the Mavericks and Hornets.
Seth Curry’s signing marks the first time the Curry brothers will play together in a regular-season NBA game, despite his brief G League stint with Golden State in 2013–14. The move provides the Warriors added depth at guard and increases their perimeter shooting options.
Golden State enters the 2025–26 season with an 11-10 record, relying heavily on Stephen Curry (27.9 points per game) and Jimmy Butler (20.2 points, 5.7 assists per game) for scoring and playmaking. Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski have also contributed significantly, averaging 13.5 and 12.3 points per contest, respectively.
