Anthony Black exploded for a career-high 31 points, including 12-of-17 shooting, to lead the Orlando Magic to a commanding 144-103 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Tuesday, November 25.

Black scored 27 points in the first half alone, setting the tone for Orlando’s dominance, while Franz Wagner added 21 points and Jalen Suggs contributed 15 before being ejected with 27 seconds left in the second quarter.

The Magic improved to 3-0 in NBA Cup play, taking control after a 35-all first quarter and outscoring Philadelphia 51-25 in the second to build a 26-point halftime lead. Trendon Watford left the game with a left adductor strain before halftime and did not return.

Philadelphia, missing Joel Embiid (right knee) and Paul George (right ankle), struggled throughout. Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 20 points, while Justin Edwards added 13 and Dominick Barlow 11. Andre Drummond collected 12 rebounds, but the team could not contain Orlando’s offensive firepower.

Orlando shot 53% overall and 38% from three, dominating the boards 47-38 and committing just 10 turnovers. The Magic’s defense held Philadelphia to 45% shooting, including 36% from deep.

Suggs’ ejection followed a heated altercation late in the second quarter, but it did little to slow Orlando, who maintained a double-digit lead for the remainder of the game. Paolo Banchero was sidelined with a left groin strain, marking his seventh consecutive absence.
