Cade Cunningham scored 29 points with 10 assists and eight rebounds as the Detroit Pistons defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 129-116 on Saturday at Fiserv Forum. Detroit extended its winning streak to 12 games, improving to 14-2 and sitting one victory shy of matching the franchise record.
Jaden Ivey returned from a left fibula injury, playing 15 minutes and scoring 10 points, while Tobias Harris added 18 points in his first game since Nov. 1. Jalen Duren contributed 19 points, and Duncan Robinson added 15 as the Pistons shot 62.8% overall and 53.3% from three.
Detroit pulled ahead for good in the second quarter and led by as many as 29, outpacing Milwaukee over the middle frames with hot shooting and balanced scoring. Cunningham also fueled the offense with efficient playmaking, helping Detroit capitalize on Milwaukee’s mistakes.
The Bucks, missing Giannis Antetokounmpo for a second straight game due to an adductor strain, fell to 8-9. Ryan Rollins led Milwaukee with 24 points, while Bobby Portis added 18. Milwaukee has now lost four consecutive games and dropped below .500 for the first time this season.
The Pistons will visit the Indiana Pacers on Monday, while the Bucks host the Portland Trail Blazers on the same night.
