The Memphis Grizzlies delivered a commanding 137-96 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Thursday at FedExForum, snapping a five-game losing streak and handing Sacramento its eighth consecutive defeat.

Santi Aldama led the charge with 29 points, including five three-pointers, while Cedric Coward added 19 points, fueling Memphis to a 75-47 halftime lead.

Zach Edey contributed efficiently with 16 points and helped Memphis control the paint alongside Jock Landale, who finished with 21 points as the duo combined for 29 first-half points on 12-of-13 shooting.

Vince Williams set a career high with 15 assists, part of a Grizzlies record-setting team total of 42 assists on the night.

The Grizzlies maintained balanced scoring, with Tristan Wells chipping in 13 points and Olivier-Maxence Prosper adding 11 off the bench to keep the Kings from mounting any comeback.

Memphis shot 51% from the field and 31% from three-point range while dominating the boards 49-32 and limiting Sacramento to turnovers that led to easy transition baskets.

Zach LaVine paced the Kings with 26 points, hitting 10 of 17 field goals, but he received little support as Maxime Raynaud scored 12 and Russell Westbrook added 11 in Sacramento’s biggest loss of the season.

Keegan Murray, making his season debut after a left thumb injury, managed 11 points but struggled to impact a game controlled by Memphis’ inside presence.

The Kings were further hampered by the absence of Domantas Sabonis, sidelined with a partial meniscus tear, which left a void in the frontcourt that Memphis exploited throughout.

Memphis’ lead ballooned to 37 points entering the fourth quarter as the Grizzlies showcased efficient ball movement and relentless scoring, ending the night with their highest point total since the start of the season.

Sacramento has now lost all eight games in their skid by double digits, with four losses coming by 27 points or more, highlighting a season-long struggle with injuries and depth.

The Grizzlies improve to 5-11 and will visit Dallas on Saturday, while Sacramento falls to 3-13 and closes its five-game road trip in Denver on the same night.
