The Charlotte Hornets travel to Toronto on Monday to face the Raptors in their first meeting of the 2025-26 season, tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET at Scotiabank Arena.
Charlotte enters at 4-9, dropping its last two games to Milwaukee and Oklahoma City, while Toronto holds an 8-5 record, riding two consecutive wins.
The Hornets are dealing with multiple absences. Josh Green is out with a left shoulder injury, Brandon Miller is recovering from a left shoulder subluxation, and Liam McNeeley misses time due to illness. Grant Williams remains sidelined following right knee surgery, and Tidjane Salaun is on a G League assignment, leaving Charlotte thin across perimeter and interior positions.
Toronto faces injury concerns in its backcourt and wing rotation. Ochai Agbaji is questionable with a lumbar back strain, and Jamison Battle is also listed as questionable with a right knee contusion. Chucky Hepburn and Alijah Martin remain inactive on G League two-way contracts. The Raptors’ core, however, remains intact, allowing starters to control tempo and defensive assignments.
LaMelo Ball leads Charlotte with 22.3 points and 9.9 assists per game, while Miles Bridges averages 22.1 points and 6.9 rebounds. Moussa Diabaté adds 10.5 points and 8.0 rebounds, and Kon Knueppel contributes 17.2 points, supporting the Hornets’ offense despite injury challenges.
For Toronto, Scottie Barnes leads the team at 19.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per contest. Brandon Ingram averages 20.4 points and 6.0 rebounds, while RJ Barrett posts 19.3 points and 4.0 assists. Immanuel Quickley adds 15.8 points and 6.2 assists to anchor the Raptors’ backcourt production.
