Michael Porter Jr. scored 34 points to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 129-106 victory over the Washington Wizards on Sunday at Capital One Arena.

Tyrese Martin added 20 points, including seven straight late in the third quarter, helping Brooklyn snap a four-game losing streak.

Nic Claxton contributed 17 points and seven rebounds while Ziaire Williams added 13 for the Nets, who improved to 2-11 and remain winless at home this season.

The Wizards fell to 1-12, losing their 11th straight, with Kyshawn George leading Washington with 29 points and CJ McCollum contributing 17.

Brooklyn overcame 11 first-half turnovers by outscoring Washington 35-25 in the second quarter to take a 63-53 lead into halftime.

Washington mounted a rally in the third quarter, outscoring the Nets 31-22 to narrow the deficit to 85-84.

Porter Jr. and Martin responded quickly, with Martin’s field goals and a key 3-pointer extending Brooklyn’s lead to 94-84 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Nets opened the final period on a 14-4 run, stretching the lead to 20 points at 108-88 with under eight minutes remaining.

Brooklyn finished with seven players in double figures, shooting 53% from the field and 41% from 3-point range while limiting Washington to 44% overall shooting.

The Nets also controlled the boards 46-33 and recorded 32 assists, highlighting a balanced team effort despite early turnovers.

Washington struggled offensively beyond George, shooting just 35% from three-point range and failing to mount a comeback once Brooklyn pulled away.

Brooklyn returns home to face the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, while Washington opens a three-game road trip at Minnesota on Wednesday.
