Bojan Popovic, expierienced point guard and member od Serbia national team, signed for Lietuvos Rytas. Former FMP captain joins lithuanian champion after two seasons spent in Spain with Unicaja and Bruesa, previously he was on the roster of Dynamo Moscow. Popovic will play in Euroleague against Partizan, team from his hometown Belgrade.
Bojan Popovic replaced Igor Rakocevic in Serbia national team after Euroleague topscorer decided to miss Eurobasket 2009 in Poland because of injury.
