Alperen Sengun powered the Houston Rockets to a 110–102 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night at Toyota Center, turning in another dominant performance to lead his team to its fourth straight win.

The 23-year-old Turkish center delivered a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double, playing nearly 40 minutes and shooting 10-of-22 from the field, including 10-of-20 on two-pointers.

Sengun also added six assists and one steal, helping Houston seal the game with a crucial basket in the final 90 seconds.

Reflecting on the team’s turnaround after a slow start to the season, Sengun emphasized how the Rockets are still learning to play together following roster changes.

“We lost two close games, the first two games. We know now who we need to get the ball to. We are just learning. We have a lot of time. We have a new team. KD came. A lot of things changed,” he said. “So, we’ve got to figure out some stuff, and it’s going to get easier and easier for us.”

The Rockets, now 4–2 on the season, appear to be finding their rhythm after early growing pains.

Off the bench, Swiss big man Clint Capela contributed four points, eight rebounds, and two blocks, adding valuable minutes on both ends of the court as Houston continued to build chemistry with its revamped lineup.
