Olympiacos Piraeus delivered a commanding 96–71 victory over FC Bayern Munich at SAP Garden on Friday, improving to 4–2 in the EuroLeague. The Reds showcased a complete performance, excelling on both ends of the court with contributions from all 10 players who saw action.

Tyler Dorsey and Sasha Vezenkov led the way in the first half, helping Olympiacos build a 47–29 lead by halftime. Dorsey scored 19 points, while Vezenkov added 18, combining for a potent offensive threat that Bayern struggled to contain.

The returning duo of Thomas Walkup and Evan Fournier added balance to the lineup, with Fournier coming off the bench to maintain offensive momentum alongside Frank Ntilikina. Their rotation allowed Olympiacos to keep either Dorsey or Fournier on the floor at all times, sustaining pressure on the hosts’ defense.

Olympiacos shared the ball effectively, finishing with 25 assists, and seven players scored at least seven points. Alec Peters contributed 8 points, while Donta Hall posted season highs with 11 points, 8 rebounds, 6 offensive boards, and 2 assists, energizing the team with his presence on both ends.

Bayern threatened briefly in the second quarter and again in the third, but Olympiacos absorbed every push. The German side was limited to 71 points, committing 18 turnovers, while Olympiacos registered 12 steals to disrupt their rhythm.

Despite efforts from Andreas Obst (15 points), Oscar Da Silva (12), and Wenyen Gabriel (10), Bayern could not mount a sustained comeback.

Walkup added 7 points, while Ntilikina chipped in 4, supporting the team’s depth. Hall’s energy and defensive effort set the tone for the second unit, complementing the balanced scoring of Olympiacos’s starters.

The Reds’ success stemmed from consistent execution on both sides of the floor, limiting Bayern’s scoring opportunities and maintaining control throughout. Olympiacos forced Bayern to work hard for every point, ultimately turning a strong start into a decisive blowout.

Olympiacos will host AS Monaco in Round 7, aiming to continue their winning momentum. Bayern, now 2–4, will travel to face Real Madrid, looking to recover from their latest setback in the EuroLeague standings.
